Cost Effective Ingress Protection
Plastic fan filters with G3 filter media can be used instead of a filter fan unit when installing Axial compact fans or frame fans to prevent accidental contact with fingers by creating a barrier between the impeller and the person. In addition, plastic fan guards protect the component blades from damage.
Axair recommend using a more advanced filter fan unit for effective enclosure cooling, but when budgets are limited, these plastic filters are the most cost effective method.
- Material Plastic Guard - Black RAL 9005 self extinguishing ABS/PC Alloy
- Material Filter Media - White organic and synthetic fibres (polyester and polypropylene). Heat bound.
- Material Net: Natural colour fibreglass wiring
- IP30 Ingress Protected (IP54 and IP55 can be achieved with a fan filter unit)
