Filter Fan units are a great solution to thermal management. The FPF08KUD24BR-110, which is the reverse airflow version of this model, is IP54. This is due to its permanent sealing gasket in polyurethane foam. Its compact, low profile side mount can be modified using an adaptor. It can sit flush to the cabinet with the unit fully inside the enclosure or, alternatively, pushed out slightly by using an adaptor to extend its external profile allowing for more space inside the enclosure. Fitting the FPF08KUD24BR-110 with or without an adaptor is easy as it features click fit mounting allowing for easy, fast installation.

G3 filter media comes as standard in the FPF08KUD24BR-110 however G4 media is available on request. All our filter medias are reusable. They can be reused by washing, blow drying and lightly beating. They can be washed up to 10 times. The filter fan unit comes with a plate thickness of between 1.5 and 2.2mm and the plastic parts are made from ABS and PC alloy. IP55 is available on request as well as an EMC version, Type1, and 3R. The FPF08KUD24BR-110 has UL approval according to UL 508 as well as CE, cURus and CSA approved. This filter fan unit contains shielded ball bearings.

We recommend using this filter fan alongside the FPF08KUG-101 air inlet/exhaust to allow the air to move freely through the enclosure.
